If anyone was confused about what the DX version is, according to the anime-sharing wiki:
- 4 new character personalities (voices).
- A new gameplay "Deluxe Plan", which opens a VIP Lobby managed by Sitri from Honey Select 1! [I haven't tried it yet but can anyone clarify what this means?]
- 6 new events in the VIP Lobby.
- 6 new maps.
- 18 new positions.
- And dozens of clothes and accessories.
Yeah, basically a few newer rooms which corresponds to each state the girl can be in, and with each map two or three special positions (some of which can be used in normal h)
@pixellust initsetting.exe ran just fine for me. As has for me with all these repacks. Sorry can't be much more help than that. I would guess you have already tried disabling any AV? I'm running latest Win10 build. As much as it sucks, a clean o/s install on a spare drive for testing should tell you if its a bug in the software. But at very least I can confirm the program is and has been working properly on my system. Which is a fairly simple setup, a clean o/s with a handful of games. No AV or Internet Security software. Hardware handles the IS and if I DL a bug, I'll just re-image the system.
@STN - Have you considered releasing a pack with all the mods pre-installed? I downloaded the 29gb file and left the 51gb file out because I don't know how to install mods. Even with directions as simple as dragging and dropping I still manage to screw it up. Does this mean that the graphics are entirely "vanilla" and I need to use specific mods I'm not downloading in order to improve the graphics quality?
Also, what do the three settings of "H", Accosto" and "Getting" do / mean? Do they relate to specific positions or options if selected or not?

@nincow you have my curiosity. I was always under the impression all the extras were just maps and tools for the studio. Never thought to think they could enhance overall graphics. I have DL the extra mod pack in the past and had seen it full of various mods by what looked like MANY other users, and imagined I could easily "break" the game by getting the wrong combination of ingredients. Alas I always left the modpack alone and hadn't even bothered with the DL this repack, until you brought it up. Now I have it and curious what can be done with it.

Normally this is due to a problem with your .net installation, or some interfering application. Kinda hard to pin down, but you're not entirely alone, though it's rarer and rarer that users experience that. I recommend following along with KingBrowzer's recommendations.

You're talking about optional mods? most of them are optional for a reason. They're mods that either has known problems, they're unstable, they conflict with other mods, or adds functionality I don't think all/most users will appreciate. by its very nature, it's a bonus for those that want to experiment, I can either add them in as optional mods... or I can not. They cannot all be preapplied in the base pack.

Does anyone have any idea why the character mods look so wonky and off (and some just straight up don't even work because they are ''outdated'')? One of the previous repacks had the same problem (for me at least), but I love all the new maps etc thank you for this amazing pack I appreciate all the work you do screwthisnoise! <3
One of my girls suddenly lost her hair and skin overlay (not related to this repack version, she was fine earlier in this same repack). Any idea if this is a bug in the base game or mod related? Thankfully I had a backup so I restored them, but I make tweaks every now and then so the backups are usually a bit outdated.
Also is there a way to adjust the H scenes per character? I made my guy a bit shorter and with a smaller dick and now sometimes the angles look dick-breaking.

I'd recommend try DL and install the "framework runtime" for 4.8 or 5.0
Can't really hurt far as I can tell, systems can have multiple versions installed as needed to run certain applications
So, am I making something wrong? All my scenes are loading with compability resolving warnings and the maps and a lot of objects just won't load. I downloaded everything game + sideloader mods. I extracted the sideloader inside the mods folder like always. It's odd, because everything was fine with R1, but no scene loads properly after I changed to R2. Would really appreciate any insight on this, thanks =)
Finally figured out the InitSetting.exe issue. Apparently it had something to do with MSI Afterburner. If I close MSI Afterburner then try to run InitSetting.exe it opens just fine. Super super weird shit, not sure why that would happen, but it did.
Anyway, are all the issues with DX R2 fixed yet? Still on R1 but the Heelz and BetterPenetration issues as well as certain studio items not loading in properly kind of broke the deal for me. Is there an R2.1 coming any time soon? Or maybe just R3?
